All DayKesher is pleased to welcome Rabbi Dr. Meir Y. Soloveichik, rabbi of Congregation Shearith Israel in New York, NY, as a special guest the Shabbat of May 5-6, Parshat Achrei Mot-Kedoshim. Rabbi Soloveichik will be visiting Kesher along with a group of his congregants.
Rabbi Soloveichik will be delivering a drasha at the main minyan. After kiddush, Rabbi Soloveichik will speak at noon on the topic of Jonas Phillips, the patriarch of the family that saved Monticello. He will also be speaking at seudah shlishit on Thomas Jefferson's legacy.
Kesherites are invited to join Rabbi Soloveichik and his congregants at Kesher on Friday night, May 5, for Shabbat dinner and a talk on Uriah Phillips Levy, the man who saved Monticello.
