Children and families will explore similar themes of rededication and preservation at a re-imagined Kesher Hanukkah party:

Ages 3 & up and parents:
10:30 am @ the Lillian & Albert Small Jewish Museum of Washington (701 Third Street NW)
Like Hanukkah's story about the miraculous restoration and rededication of the Beit Hamikdash, DC's historic Small Museum, whose restored "one room shul house" was DC's first synagogue, holds an enormous amount of local history and Hanukkah-related lessons. Families are invited to join us on the first day of Hanukkah for an interactive program and project at the Small Museum followed by a pizza and latke Hanukkah lunch for families at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue (600 I Street NW). Space is limited and pre-registration is required by Thursday, December 10. Click here to RSVP.

Ages 3 & under and parents:
11:30 am @ Sixth & I Historic Synagogue (600 I Street NW, metro: Gallery Place/Chinatown, Circulator stop: Mass Ave. & 7th St.)
Hanukkah is a time to sing, dance and celebrate with friends and family. Join in the fun at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue for a Hanukkah sing-a-long filled with music, dancing, games and fun followed by a pizza and latke Hanukkah lunch for families. Pre-registration required by Thursday, December 10. Click here to RSVP.
