2024 Yom Kippur Appeals
Kesher Israel 2024 Yom Kippur Appeals
Kesher encourages all members, visitors, and guests to participate in our annual Yom Kippur appeals, an important piece of Kesher's annual fundraising revenues. Your contributions make up a significant percentage of our revenues and allows us to provide daily minyan, programming, and continuing community support.
Money raised from the Kol Nidre Appeal goes towards our operating budget, which helps us keep the lights on and the doors open, as well as ensuring community security. The operating budget helps pay for the salaries of our professional staff, cleaners, regular building repairs and maintenance, security expenses and personnel, garbage pickup, gas, water, electricity, insurance, programming, and everything else Kesher needs to function 365 days a year.
The Communal Needs Appeal funds critical community infrastructure that provides for both our membership and the wider DC Jewish community, including maintenance of the Kesher Eruv, our three cemeteries, and our confidential Welfare Fund.
Please consider supporting these two vital efforts to ensure Kesher's continued financial stability.
You can donate online today, or use the card placed on your High Holiday seat to make a pledge.
Wishing you and yours a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year - Shanah Tova!
