Membership
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of KesherIsrael!
The members of KesherIsrael are what make the synagogue unique. Our membership draws from college students, graduate students, young professionals, interns, couples, families, and retirees. We've had elected officials, a significant number of Ambassadors, Cabinet Secretaries, and several distinguished authors. Many of our members hold fascinating positions in government or in other important national and international organizations.
Membership comes with very tangible benefits, including community meals, discounts for events, and family programming. More importantly, you receive the benefit of being part of a warm, hospitable Jewish community that will support you during all aspects of your life here in Washington and beyond.

Dues
Kesher Israel relies on its members in order to provide the services, events, and learning programs that sustain our strong and vibrant community.
The dues listed below are anchor points for each category of membership. Absolutely no one will be turned away because of difficulty in paying. What is important to us is that you are a participating member of the Kesher Israel community; how much you can afford in dues is secondary.
If you are unable to pay the listed membership dues, we ask you to contribute whatever monetary amount you can and consider volunteering your time to help Kesher in other areas.
Kesher Israel respects your privacy and maintains strict confidentiality regarding discounted membership fees. We hope you will sign up for membership. Do not hesitate to contact the Executive Committee if you would like to discuss paying in installments, reduced fees, or have any additional concerns.
Our current membership rates are as follows:

Student/Under 25 | $250 | (Check out our $36 first time Student/Under 25 deal here!) |
