Malka Simkovich is an Orthodox scholar whose research focuses on the intersection of Second Temple Judaism, Rabbinic Judaism, and Early Christianity. She is the Crown-Ryan Chair of Jewish Studies at Catholic Theological Union, as well as the director of Catholic-Jewish Studies. Dr. SImkovich received her MA from Harvard University and PhD from Brandeis University. Her most recent book, Discovering Second Temple Literature: The Stories and Scriptures That Shaped Early Judaism, was published by JPS in 2018. She is a contributor to TheTorah.com and TheLehrhaus.com
