Rabbi JJ Schacter, University Professor of Jewish History and Jewish Thought and Senior Scholar at the Center for the Jewish Future, at Yeshiva University, will be our scholar in residence on Shabbat, November 3-4!
Rabbi Schacter will speak three times that Shabbat:
- Friday night: The Role and Life of the Rabbi: Then and Now
- Shabbat drasha: From Darkness to Light: The Lesson of the Flood
- Seudah Shlishit: Act and Emotion in Judaism: The Case of Shabbat
