Charles (Chip) Manekin is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Maryland, College Park. He specializes in the history of philosophy, specifically medieval Jewish and Islamic philosophy. He is the author of The Logic of Gersonides (1991), On Maimonides (2004), Medieval Hebrew Philosophical Texts (2008), and the co-editor of six volumes of essays, most recently, Interpreting Maimonides (2019).
