Dan Feferman is a speaker, thought leader, activist, and researcher focused on Israel, the Jewish world, and the Middle East. From 2021 to 2024, Dan served as Executive Director of Sharaka, a leading non-profit advancing public diplomacy between Israel and the Arab world while promoting the Abraham Accords. In addition, he is launching a groundbreaking Middle East media initiative and working on his third book. Previously, Dan was a fellow at the Jewish People Policy Institute, a top think tank on global Jewish affairs. He authored two influential studies on evolving Jewish identity in Israel and the U.S., along with numerous policy papers and articles. A Major (res.) in the Israel Defense Forces, Dan served as a foreign policy and national security analyst, strategist, and intelligence officer specializing in Middle East affairs. He holds a BA in International Politics and Middle East Studies from American University in Washington, DC, and an MA in Security Studies from Tel Aviv University.
