High Holiday Seat Information

Kesher Israel is pleased to offer seats for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur together or for each individual holiday.

Seats for all services must be purchased in advance and will be assigned. Charts of seat locations will be posted in the shul.

Mysteries of Jewish History
Rabbi Shafner teaches a daily online class (Monday-Friday) at 8:30 AM focused on Shabbatai Tzvi’s messianic movement and its aftermath. To join the shiur live or to access the recordings on your own time from anywhere, please sign up here
 
Pre Rosh Hashanah Class with Rabbi Shafner
Join Rabbi Shafner for a class over zoom to learn Rabbi Menachem HaMeiri's Chibur HaTeshuvah, a book which had been hidden for 700 years.  This class will take place over zoom on September 4, 11, and 18 at 8:30 PM.
 
Shabbat Shuvah Drasha
Join Rabbi Shafner for the annual Shabbat Shuvah Drasha on Shabbat afternoon, September 27 at 5 PM.  The topic will be 

 "Medieval Jewish Conceptions of Teshuvah"

Running & Returning: Lessons from Sefer Yonah
Yoetzet Rachel Cohen is teaching a class on Yonah on Monday evenings September 8, 15, and 29 at 8:00 PM on Zoom. Click here to register. 

Children's Programming

We are excited to offer child care as well as a kid service this year for both days of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur in the Social Hall.  Babysitting will start at 9:30 AM and Davening will start at 10:00 AM.

2025 Yom Kippur Appeals

Please consider donating to our 2025 Yom Kippur appeals to support both critical community infrastructure (Eruv, cemeteries, Welfare Fund) as well as the daily needs of Kesher!

Kesher Sukkah Building

Please join us following Sunday Shacharit (approximately 8:45 AM) on October 5 to build the communal sukkot at the shul and Rose Park. Contact Rabbi Shafner for more information. All are welcome!
