Do you have what it takes to raise the GOLDEN LADLE? The Kesher Israel Annual Cholent Cook-off is back! Sign up, and show us what your famous recipe is made of!

The competition will run from February 8 to March 8 Each Shabbat of the competition, two Kesherites will have a chance to show off their best cholent recipes. And, it's up to everyone tasting the cholents to vote for their favorite! Kesher will be supplying Crock-Pots and some meat (beef cubes and flanken), as well as other random ingredients available in the kitchen. Cholent must be cooked in the shul kitchen. We'll have someone open it Thursday night.

Here's the breakdown (subject to change):

• February 8 & 15: Group stages (4 cholents each week) -Top 2 cholents of each week advance.
• March 1 and March 8: Bracket style - Winner takes the Golden Ladle.
