Communities in Conversation at JStation

Sunday, November 12, 2023 28 Cheshvan 5784

12:00 PM - 2:00 PM1990 K St NW, Washington, DC 20006 (MesorahDC spaces, Enter building from 20th St)

Join us for a learning event at JStation near Washington Circle, in memory of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, a week after his yarhzeit (20 Cheshvan). Just as last year, food will be provided before we begin the discussion. This year's theme is "The Home We Build Together",  a very appropriate message given the challenging times of the past month. Now, more than ever, it is important to discuss the topic of unity.

Whether you are very familiar with Rabbi Sacks' teachings or not as much, and whatever your level of Jewish observance is, all are welcome to come and have discussions about the concepts he made so accessible and applicable to our 21st century world.

This will take place in conjunction with Communities in Conversation, a Rabbi Sacks Legacy Trust worldwide event which takes place every year on the anniversary of Rabbi Sacks' yarhzeit. To mark it, The Rabbi Sacks Legacy Trust is inviting individuals, families, schools, organizations and communities from around the world to come together to remember the impact Rabbi Sacks made on the Jewish world and beyond, and to learn and teach some of his Torah.
